These artists combine two seemingly diverse mediums, finding a common language for their distinct artwork by creating projected images of their laguna portraits in “cut art”. With pieces exploring the unique ecology of the laguna, their work celebrates this distinctive and vulnerable environment, its flora and fauna. Emphasizing light and shadow, the projection of the artwork will be an intentional third aspect of the exhibition, playing with light and reflection, presenting dynamic projection.
